Terms of Service

Plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to me before you subscribe.

1. What you are buying

A Digital Dojo subscription is a monthly service engagement with Rick Tew. You are hiring Rick's service to audit your business, build your Digital Dojo (an AI command center with trained AI assistants for your repeated work), keep it running, and help you run it: your team runs the daily work and Rick oversees it as your sensei, in writing. Running the daily work for you, or an engagement bigger than one Dojo, is a custom price agreed in writing first.

What it is not: a software license, and not product development. The subscription does not include building products you sell (apps, websites, games, or features of your own product). Product and custom build work, including any build inside your own accounts and stack (section 4), is a separate engagement: $222 per 2-hour block, or $2,222 for a 20-hour package, with scope agreed in writing before any such work starts, and Rick reachable by chat, not by phone, for the month of the build. R2 Hosting (section 2) is priced on its own and is never billed by the block.

2. The offers

Your Dojo ($2,222 per month): Rick audits, builds, and trains your Dojo on his own stack and keeps it running; your team runs the daily work; Rick oversees it as your sensei, in writing (chat and email, not by phone), so that everything agreed is on the record. Rick is not your employee and does not run the daily work for you under this offer.
R2 Hosting ($222 once, then $99 per month or $999 per year): Rick builds your website or small app from parts that already run in his own businesses, scoped on one page before he starts, then hosts it on his own stack and keeps it running: domain, SSL, firewall, backups, updates. The $222 is a separate starter invoice and includes the first month of hosting; the monthly or yearly bill starts the month after. New features beyond upkeep are quoted separately, in writing first. Running your daily work is not part of it.

Seats on Your Dojo are limited so every client gets real attention. Whether a seat is open is answered in the mailbox before any invoice is sent.

3. Billing and cancellation

Prices are in US dollars, billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, or, on a yearly R2 Hosting plan, at the end of the paid year; no further charges after that. No long-term contract, no cancellation fee.
Work in progress at cancellation stops in its current state; what is yours under section 4 leaves with you.

4. Where it lives, and what is yours

Every offer on this site is built, hosted and managed on Rick's own stack, in Rick's accounts: the hosting, the app stack, the database, the mail plumbing, and the settings that hold it together. That is deliberate. It is how the same work runs in Rick's own businesses, it is what keeps the price flat, and it means there is nothing for you to log into, renew, patch or fix. The build, the code and the configuration are Rick's and remain his; you are buying the service of having them built, run and kept, not the machinery.

What is yours, always: your domain, your content, and your data (your customers, your records, what you wrote down for the Dojo). They remain yours during the engagement and leave with you if we part ways; Rick does not keep your data after you leave, it is handed over and then removed from his stack. The same holds if Rick is ever unavailable: the build is the window Rick made onto your business, and the window is what ends; what is yours stays yours. The hosting and the build end with the subscription, at the end of the paid month or year, and nothing is charged after.

The AI is included. Rick runs the models on his own accounts as part of the service; you never open an AI account, hold a key or watch a meter. If your Dojo's use grows far beyond a small business's normal day, Rick says so and prices it in writing first.

Included limits. Mail sent from your domain is included up to 5,000 messages a month; more is priced in writing first. Large media (video, big files) is stored as it is needed and priced only when it becomes a real cost, in writing first.

Not included: ad spend, and any software subscription your business already pays for on its own. Where an account has to be in your name (an ad account, your domain), it is, and Rick manages it with the access you grant.

Building inside your own accounts and stack instead, so that you own the machinery outright, is a custom engagement under section 1, quoted in writing first. It costs more because every login, registrar setting, stack setup and card approval on your side adds hours to the build, and Rick prices them.

5. Judgment stays human, and yours

The Dojo's assistants draft and propose. Anything that sends, pays, posts, or commits your business waits for a human press, and the judgment calls are never Rick's to make on your behalf. You remain responsible for the decisions of your business and for reviewing what you approve.

6. Honest expectations

No revenue, savings, or outcome is guaranteed. Estimates shown anywhere (including the quiz on the offer page) are computed from numbers you provide and are labeled as estimates. AI systems make mistakes; the Dojo's approval gates exist for exactly that reason.

7. Confidentiality

What Rick sees of your business while building and running your Dojo stays confidential. Methods and patterns learned across engagements (never your data, people, or specifics) remain Rick's to reuse; that is what keeps the shelf of proven builds sharp for every client.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Tew's Inc's total liability under this agreement is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

Tew's Inc is a United States company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA.

10. Changes

These terms can change with notice; the date above always reflects the current version. Changes never apply retroactively to a month you have already paid for.
