Be highly specific when designing your goals and your winning strategies. Remember that the Mind-Body-Spirit connection must be stable and in balance to avoid collapse or failure.

Because the mind is so important, and so much of what we do and who we are involves some level of mental practice, it is the one subject you will find discussed in every section of this book.

The first thing you have to concern yourself with before you start taking action and before you dive into any aspect of achievement, is to be outcome-oriented. Be specific – what do you want your outcome to be? Vague undefined goals will not allow you to be successful.

I want to do some running one of these days,” will never get you as far as “I will run 3 miles every morning.”

Once you know your outcome, you will know what has to happen mentally, physically, and spiritually for you to achieve this goal. You need to know the specifics of what you are doing and why. The more detail the better.
